Dalekit has been manufacturing and wholesaling bespoke outdoor awning products for over 25 years. Starting from humble beginnings, Dalekit started as a small father and son family business assembling awnings for local awning retailers. 25 years later, Dalekit has grown from a teeny-weeny factory into a whopping 6000 square metre factory based in Western Sydney’s, South Windsor. We’ve always been known as ‘Dalekit Awnings’, but with New Product Development in close sight (including our roller blinds), we’re levelling up to cover an expanded range of window furnishings products.
We Use World-Class Roller Blind Componentry
We manufacture our Roller Blinds using Rollease Acmeda and Blindware hardware along with a wide range of fabric including reputable textile brands such as Alpha Fabrics, Shaw, Textstyle, Uniline and Hunter Douglas — available in blockout, light filtering and screen transparencies. As you would expect, fabrics are available in a plethora of colours and styles.
Quicker lead times and accurate cutting
Have you seen our new Screen Cut machine? Our new slick, quick, accurate and Switzerland made machine can cut fabric in no time. It takes a quick 30 seconds to produce a custom sized skin. Did we mention that we are the only ones in the industry nationally (in fact the whole of the Southern Hemisphere) to own such a machine? This state-of-the-art technology allows us to get roller blinds dispatched and out the door in no time.

No, we are strictly wholesale and work directly with businesses that retail blinds and awnings, not end users. If you are an end user and would like to enquire about one of our products, please visit the Covered Australia website.
We do not have an official date our Roller Blinds will be available to our wholesale customers. We are in the midst of trialling our roller blind products.

Dalekit is our core wholesale business, while Covered is the brand of our blind and awning products. Despite ‘Covered’ aiming to catch the eye of the end-user, we are NOT a retail business. We wholesale our products to retailers who then sell to end users.
